Privacy policy

Attunis provides enterprise IT services. This policy covers this website and the enquiry form on it. For anything we do under a signed services agreement, that agreement and its data processing terms take precedence over this page.

We do not collect anything about you simply for reading this site. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recording and no third-party tracker on any page.

When you submit the enquiry form, we receive what you type into it: your name, email address, the service you selected, how you would like us to reply, and your message. Company name and phone number are optional — phone becomes required only if you ask to be contacted by phone or WhatsApp, because otherwise we cannot do what you asked. We also record that you confirmed you are 18 or over and that you accepted this policy.

Our server briefly holds the IP address a submission came from, purely to stop the same address flooding the form. It is kept in memory for sixty seconds and never written to disk.

We handle enquiry details to answer you and, if it goes further, to prepare a proposal. Under UK GDPR the basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and — once you are discussing terms — taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

Rate limiting relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable and free of abuse.

Two suppliers process data on our behalf, and only to deliver this site:

• Resend — delivers the enquiry to our inbox. Your submission passes through their systems as the body of an email.
• Hostinger — hosts the site and its server logs.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone else unless the law requires it.

These suppliers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they are covered by the safeguards their terms provide, such as standard contractual clauses.

Enquiries arrive as email and stay in our inbox. We keep them while a conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us; we delete them once there is no business reason to hold them.

Nothing you submit is written to a database — there is no account, no profile and no record of you on this site beyond that email.

This site sets no tracking cookies. Two small values are saved in your browser’s local storage, and both stay on your device — neither is sent to us or to anyone else:

• attunis-theme — whether you chose the dark or daylight appearance.
• attunis:cookie-consent — your answer to the cookie banner, so it stops asking.

If we add analytics later, the banner will govern it and nothing will load until you agree. Clearing your browser storage removes both values and the banner will ask again.

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, and object to us using it at all. You can also ask for it in a portable format.

Email info@attunis.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.

This site is for business enquiries and is not intended for children. We ask you to confirm you are 18 or over before submitting the form, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone younger. If you believe a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes to how we use enquiry data will be described here rather than made quietly.
